Here’s a rundown of the scenarios that can result in a
penalty:
VIOLATION #13.1 – Participant failed to turn in picks before
the first practice of the race weekend and will be docked 50% of their total
score.
VIOLATION #13.2 – Participant failed to turn in any picks
before the start of the race and will be docked 100% of their total score.
VIOLATION #14.1 – Participant selected a driver two or more
times for a single race and will be penalized 50% for the replacement pick(s).
VIOLATION #14.2 – Participant selected a driver that is not
racing over the course of the weekend and will be penalized 50% for the
replacement pick (Newgarden Rule).
VIOLATION #14.3 – Participant submitted less than or more
than five drivers and will be docked 50% for each pick over or under the limit
of five.
VIOLATION #15.1 – Participant has the Briscoe Rule enacted
in their favor, but the replacement driver has been maxed out by the
participant. Therefore, the participant will receive no points for that
selection.
VIOLATION #16.1 – Participant selected a driver that they
have maxed out on the season and will be penalized 50% for the replacement
pick.
VIOLATION #17.1 – Participant selected a driver who was given an official penalty by the IndyCar Series following a given race. The participant will be docked the same number of points as the driver he/she selected.
